As someone who first started out as a self taught musician, I know how daunting it might be to pick up a new instrument and learn the three basic chords, the rhythmic patterns or even reading music. Here at Pete's guitar guide my aim is to help get rid of that fear in new comers and help them achieve what at first might seem impossible and turn it into a deep rooting passion.

As a beginner the thing that I've struggled with the most was finding access to online lessons. The internet is a vast open space. It's easy to find short videos that claim to teach you the basics but it's even easier to get lost within hours and hours of watching the same "video tutorials" over and over trying to figure out what the videos actually say. My aim here is to fix this on going issue.
